PAMELA EASTON - SLOW FASHION
Being an old fan of Aussie fashion label Easton Pearson and an old hand at CRM campaigns, I leapt on board to help Pam launch her new, self-titled clothing line Pamela Easton at the end of 2017.
Pam spent 27 years at the helm of her thriving label Easton Pearson, but near its tail end yearned to step back from the churn and burn of fast fashion.
Her new young label heroes the same bold fabrics and gorgeous shapes that gained such a cult following at EP, but focuses on the details of the hand made. We crafted the brand to sit within that world - using a simple, handwritten font for the logo, and images that highlight the intricate craft of the garments rather than the models and shoot locations for the website. We've built the Instagram account around her personal journey starting and growing the label; throughout it you'll find shots of her travels to India to source fabric and work with seasoned masters of hand beading, invites to trunk shows, and stills and GIFs from our beautifully paired back shoots.
During the short time I've been freelancing with the brand, I've set up the website and online store, managed photo shoots, responded to customer enquiries, organized and worked at the launch trunk shows, and have been steering social media. Now, we're developing a brand campaign that tells the story of the clothes and the people who make and wear them.
